Started working on the kitchen some more this weekend. Had a last minute job on Saturday come up (they were willing to pay weekend rates) so it out me behind a bit. I got the crappy window replaced, and started removing drywall so I can get the wiring done

My AWESOME Wife!

Training...

So week 2 is upon us. Week 2 of workouts that is. Nothing major, just trying to get into the routine, and get our muscles accustomed to the extra work. The last thing we do is a new one for me - floor wipers. You lay on your back, hold a barbell (or 2 - 50lbs dumbells since I don't have a bar) over your chest and raise your straight legs up to one side of the bar, then down and back up to the other. Cant decide if I love them or hate them. Also been trying to eat better. I've found it works better if I try a little harder each week to eat smaller portions, and healthier meals, rather than to jump in with both feet.

Breakfast

A big 'ol plate of pure love!  It's a King of the Castle for breakfast - fried potatoes, a hamburger patty, 2 fried eggs over easy, smothered in homemade Chili & topped w/ shredded cheese.  Oh yeah!

Going over work at The Old Stone Church, and noticed in some places around the perimeter walls they have left untouched, in fact framed out & put plexiglass over drawings & old wall covering, giving glimpses into the historic past of this church. Supposedly this is the oldest church this side of the Mississippi.
